The English Toy Terrier (Black and Tan) Society held its inaugural meeting in 2017. This was in response to many owners of English Toy Terriers wanting an organisation that was devoted to preserving its true characteristics.
We hope to achieve this by promoting the breeding and judging to the Kennel Club's 'Standard of Excellence' of this vulnerable and threatened breed. We hope to encourage and recommend ownership of English Toy Terriers as pets and companion family dogs, for which they are truly suited.
The English Toy Terrier (Black and Tan) Society's governing committee and membership include many of the breed's enthusiasts, active top breeders, show exhibitors and breed judges who are dedicated to this lovely and original British Terrier.
Our team of online experts are on hand to answer any queries you may have, via our Q & A pages, about any aspects of ownership of our lovely and captivating breed of Terriers that are not covered by this site.
