We were delighted to be invited to attend "The Game Fair" at Ragley Hall representing our wonderful breed at their 60th Anniversary Show.
We occupied a 3 metre x 6 metre stand adjacent to the Mini Ring from where we showcased the English Toy Terrier. We also exhibited twice daily in the ring. The Manchester Terriers were housed in the "Terrier Exhibition Tent" at the bottom of The Game Fair and following a discussion we all decided it would be great fun to join forces to give the visitors a general insight into both breeds at the same time in the Mini Ring and in the Terrier Parade which was held in the Lurcher Ring near their tent.
We ended our spot by letting all of the dogs off their leads which went down very well with the general public and organisers alike. Manchester Terriers, English Toy Terriers, a miniature Xolitzcuintle, Poodle all running around happily playing together which was incredible as none of the dogs had ever met before. We even had a try at simulated coursing! Below are some photographs from the day for your perusal, further there is an Public File on Sian Rhythmtyme Gordon's facebook page with a full photographic record of the weekend. The weather was rather unsettled as it was very hot on Thursday when we set up and again on Friday with wind and rain Saturday and rain Sunday but none of our spirits were dampened it was a busy but a very rewarding weekend.
